These are the springs for the 09+ Corolla XRS. I just ordered a set off of Amazon.com.....for get this... $89.02. LOL! They've accepted the order just now, and I'll be waiting to see if the price still stands when they ship it out. But there's still one set available if anyone wants it, http://www.amazon.com/Eibach-8296-140-Pro-...g/dp/B002C3MNVW You can't get anything better than this, for this price. I hope one of you guys snags this up. Excellent opportunity.

Installed these springs today..... WOW! What a difference. The car looks so much better, and from my impression of taking the car around the block it feels a lot more solid. These springs are definitely worth the money. I'll post up a better review when I take her out on some roads I know where I can open her up a little and see how they really feel, and I will take some better pix with my actual camera and not my blackberry. Tomorrow I'll put the trunk area back together and maybe give her a bath since I haven't done that in awhile biggrin.gif

Not even an hour after install. Looks really damn good....To me the stance is perfect.

This thread has inspired me a bit... I know this is for the '09+ but do these springs for the 03-08 have the same characteristics? I'd really like to drop my car a bit, but I really don't want to compromise the ride quality. Is there no way around that when dropping? I don't want to do a lot just enough so the space between the wheel and tire isn't so much. What's the cheapest place? Ebay?

Thank

Well, the spring rates will be different for the first gen car since it is a lighter model overall. These springs I'm using are for a 2009+ Corolla XRS. Since this car is virtually the same underneath and only afew hundred pounds more than the corolla it was a no brainer to get.

But Eibach's springs are a Progressive style, meaning that when you're driving normally they offer you a comfortable ride and when you're pushing the car in the corners they stiffen up to give you the performance you need. The Pro-Kit is the more milder version....not as much of a drop and a softer spring rate than their Sportline series which offers a more aggressive spring rate and drop. I've noticed the ride is slightly firmer, but it's a good thing. Takes out the bounce when going over bumps in the road and alot of the floating. I'd noticed that more on my last car, which I slammed with Sportlines.....and the car still road great overall. You can't go wrong with Eibachs. Real quality spring. This is my second set and I'd buy them again and again in the future. If you know the part number just do a google search. I got lucky with the special on Amazon.com.

Yeah you did get lucky! lol, for the 03-08 gen, this is what I found on the same site I got my Tein S-Techs from. A lot more expensive then the Amazon link you found though:

Ok, thanks for the info guys. I'll have to figure out a few things. It sounds like whatever I do Progressives would be good to go with ride wise.

Look really nice.

Thank you.

I'll try to get some update pix, I've just been really busy. But on a side note these springs are just flat out awesome! So worth the time/money.
