The wheels are exactly the same wheels I have (not sure what they're called) except they are "chrome"? Maybe the previous owner had the stock wheels painted chrome?

Pretty sure these didn't come from the dealer like this lol!

I've seen chromed 16" and 17" oem wheels on ebay
I've thought about buying a set of the chrome 17's

but i think chrome oem on black would look nice

chrome rims = ugly
oem rims = ugly
chrome oem rims = super ugly

some dealers would have stock wheels chrome dipped as an "upgrade".

Ohhh ok I wasn't sure is this was an a option you could get with the matrix wheels. Hmm never seen it before.

it varies on where you live, they had different "upgrades" in different area's, they had XRS 17" rims chromed out down here from what i've seen, but never the 16"

I think some of the very very first Matrixes came with chrome 16s.

Here is an old press picture from 2003, I can't tell if it's those rims.

Ouch... I didn't think the optional 17in. stocks were THAT bad for stock anyway.

oem 17's are pretty nice. just heavy

i think i've seen those chrome 16's before.
but never thought anything of it.

i think i've seen 17" tc rims that we chrome.
one of the members on here had them in socal, he's not really active anymore

The real question is are these stock?

could have just painted them as well
