I think the OEM clear tails on the matrix make it look ricey. I'm going to do this mod and post pics within the coming days.

I agree, I don't particularly care for the 05-08 tails, so I just swapped the tails between my 03 XRS and 08 XR. You could always post a CL ad to see if there's anybody with an 03-04 locally who would prefer the 05-08 tails.
I'm fine with how my 04 tails look although I'm tempted to get clear bulbs for the turn signals.
i used Duplicolor Metalcast on my 05-08 tails
I really like they way that looks, i was goin to black mine out with night shade, but no that i see this i'll b doing this mod for sure...
