So for the longest time I've been wanting to get the WeatherTech In-channel type vent visors for my car, but never could find a deal on any and really couldn't afford buying them new for over $100...

So a friend of mine David (Davda113) told me about his vent visors he got off ebay that were only $30 shipped! But of course they where the stick-on type.

I decided to go ahead and bite the bullet and get them....and they look great smile.gif Sorry for the bad glare, it's been really sunny lately here.

Yeah, my wife keeps trying to convince me to get them for her Matrix. Ultimately, if she wants them, she can have them.. but I'm not gonna go out of my way to get them for her, lol. I hate those things. Had a set on my old car and lost them on the highway, plus.. they just restrict that much more visibility at the A-Pillar regardless of the fact that they're "transparent".

They don't look half-bad and they are practicle for those hot rainy days, but ultimately... the cons outweight the pros for me.

Looks good though... good find for that price indeed.

That good, huh? OK! I guess that's going on my list of things for my car. Are these WeatherTechs especially good for any particular reason? Or are there others that make these visors that I should look into as well?
davda113
weather teachs are in channel so they dont use double sided tape but in my opinion these look just as good for a fraction of the price
Anonincog
Not having the double sided tape sounds tempting. Either way, the last few months have been expensive for me (fixing up my place, took a trip, etc) so I need to build up some cash before buying anything for my car outside of gas. Tint is something else I have on my list... Until then I guess I'll keep looking into it and asking around to research pros and cons. But these pics will definitely help me see how it looks on a Matrix. Thx!

However,

The tape was necessary? Or just insurance?
davda113
^^^ its necessary..that's how there held up
SimmZ
Well, not bad but actually I'm not a fan of those sticky deflectors... I think they look a little cheap. I really prefer the deflectors from WEATHERTECH who just slide inside the windows sliders itself. They look like if they are added from factory. Don't know how to explain it... but here's the details :
