The Unichip is an easy install, true plug n play. That combined with a CAI will net you 8-10HP at the wheels and a noted improvement in overall drivability. Down side is you can not tune the Unichip yourself, need to send it away or have a certified shop re-map/tune as you add mods. However, the are other chips/piggybacks out there that will achieve higher HP gains along with the ability to tune them for your own applications. The trade off is the install can be a little more involved. Search on MO, 9th Gen and GC will give you loads of info.

We remap them for free if you purchase the upgrades from us. For example if we map it for stock + exhaust and you buy an intake from us, we'll remap it for free for the exhaust and intake.

I just got a unichip and installed it. when the power cut off switch is in the off position there is current running though it (via my ohm check) and when its on its actually turned off. map A produces a CEL, but not map B. I called neverenough and they said my Unichip was mapped for 91 octane fuel for the A map and 93 for the B and to try that. but why the CEL in A map and not B? I would think it would be the other way around. I did have a 1/4 tank off 87 octane during my tests, Ill try 91 both in map A and B and keep everyone updated ...
my future tests will only be testing 91 octane for the lack of 93 in my area.
why the CEL on the base tune A map and clean as a whissle during B map driving. It does'nt make any sense. Could the A and B map selector be reversed such as the power cutt-off switch.
Lastly there is no change in power + or - when switched from map A to B. actually clocked my best times when the unit was turned off and running in stock form.

I get better power and economy with 91 octane and stock motor, I would think you need higher than 87 to notice any power gain.
