the account was created using the same IP as the PM spammer from 4 days ago. it was created the same day as the other accounts. looks like he created them between the time where I banned the existing ones and eric blocked those IPs. the PM was sent by a computer on a different IP, but using that last account.

The extraneous threads people keep creating are just as annoying as the spam itself. (Not this thread.)

The best way to stop this nonsense is to block new members from sending PM's until they have at least 1-5 posts.

Anyway, I got tired of receiving these, and turned off PM's in my account.

Flood control also added to prevent mass spamming. Looking for a better solution.
