Ok Vegas folks. Sometime in April I need to perform some 60,000 mile maintanence. I was planning on taking it to my old shop in Cali on my trip down there, but I figure I could do it cheaper myself. My one problem, I have yet to do any real work on my baby and lack confidance. Since M/O is full of do it yourselfers I am asking for your help.

I have done some work on my previous car. Yes I can change the oil and have installed the TRD strut brace(ohh scary). So I'm hoping someone here can help me with this task.

I was planning on changing the engine oil, transmission oil, coolant, spark plugs.and anything else you guys recommend for 60k. I have a basic wrench and screwdriver set, and jack stands, but no jack worth a dam. So who wants to help me? Depending on how much all the parts cost, I will provide food of choice, and maaaaaybeee an adult beverage. Anyone interesed, let me know thanks

hopefully some of you guys sees this, as I didnt think a new topic would suffice. Anyhoo, as to changing the spark plugs, how long an extension would I need to buy, is a 10" good enough, or 12"? Unless anyone here has the required materials and is willing to meet up sunday monday or friday of this week. Monday being the 1st.

no not yet. But its past due, so probly on my next day off I'll just go to jiffy lube for the oil change, and buy a spark plug socket and change the plugs myself. The rest can wait I guess.

isn't the oil change easy to do instead of paying for it?

next time you need to do something, maybe a mini mod party can be set up.

As part of your 60k service, look into cleaning your throttle body, IACV sensor, MAF sensor and intake manifold.

I cleaned all those recently and it made a noticeable difference.

My Trix has over 101k miles and it runs and idles as smooth as when I 1st got it now.

Also it's easier than you think.

dude got a how to on the iacv haha

problem with amsoil is that it's not widely available and then a lot of people sell it that don't own a specific shop. great oil though.
