Now its time for people From Oregon to come to Seattle.

I was so exited but ended up w/people in Seattle that I already met etc..
They only people that showed up where I-5 toyota dealer promoting their stuff. Thats why Scion is there.

Looks like it was just you, Mike and his lady no wonder you were pissed. Lets get these Portland guys' act together! Maybe if we could actually plan some activity to do or something to go to, ie. Mariners, Sonics, Gameworks, somethin'...just throwin' ideas out there. Rather than just show up to some parking lot and talk for a while. We gotta set somethin' up!

After further investigation I looked over the Gameworks website and they do groups and parties. I left them my contact info and said the "NW Matrix Owners" are looking to meet up and want to get a group rate. I'll keep ya'll posted as to what they reply with prices and availability. I am going to need possible dates and a head count.

I've never been there but I've been to a similar place up in Vancouver, BC called Playdium (same idea Video arcade for adults; games, food, lounge, bar, etc.)

So maybe we could do an overnighter Friday, Saturday. Get a block of hotel rooms.

Tenative plans:
Check in Friday night. Cruise Downtown Seattle waterfront area. Hit up Gameworks for a few hours grab grub and pre-party. Hit up some clubs or somethin' do whatchalike. Crash at hotel or party and hit the afterparty's.

Whatever's clever.

Potential Expenses for Hotel:
Based on 20 people staying in 8 rooms with 2 queen beds each. On Friday Feb. 17th to Sat. 18th @ $93.60 per room=$812.45 or +\- $40.63 per person.

Now we can change the Hotel and amount of people and/or rooms to affect the price. And if Friday to Saturday is cool or Saturday to Sunday is better prices may change.

Same as above @ The Remada for $34.29 per person. It also appears that it's less expensive to stay Friday to Saturday instead of Sat to Sun.

Would like to but, I'm chained to my wife and two kids so it would be very unlikely if I show up.

Hey Kortik, I'm still around...just been busy with life is all. I've kinda given up on the whole meet thing anymore. The last time I tried to meet up with you and Q I kinda got the blow off. Hopefully you guys can get a real meet together, God knows I used to try but there just isn't really the required support up here. Although there could be now...it's been a while since those times. Oh, I do still have the Matrix btw.

I just met up with some Corolla guys from 9thGenCorolla.com and they seemed like some good guys. Tomorrow we're meeting at The Mustard Seed in Bellvue to watch the 'Hawks game and also plan for a larger meet including an event like Gameworks or the Acme Bowl in Renton at Southcenter.

It's only 6 of us (or so) that even post regularly from the NW anyways, so you aren't going to meet a bunch of new people honestly. People up here seem to not want to meet up, it's rather frustrating, Mike and I have trid to organize 3 meets and only had one successful one, but it was only 4 of us (back when not many trix's in the NW) .

I'll be 21 in two days so I'm game for w/e you guys want, bars, clubs, etc, it's all fine for me now, no more "oh I can't, I'm not 21" crap any more .

I'm not saying dates or times, but I've driven to Seattle 4 times now to meet up with Mike and do shows, etc, only Q has showed up to anything, and that was one show that I was at. So yeah, it's rather frustrating to plan a meet in the NW now seeing as no one shows up.

I wouldn't get group rates for anything, or reserve anything, we'd be lucky to get 10 people to show up from MO, just play it by ear i guess.

yah...we're definitely still in the play-it-by-ear stage. Both MO and GCN are gonna try and come up with something. 2 heads are better than one!

a meet im always up for.........i just want it to be a meet not just 3 or 4 cars showing up. the northwest has always had their asses handed to them when it comes to meets in the pnw compared to other states and locations across the us.

Yeah, I'd also like an actual "meet" not just the 4 of us again .


And yes, post up on as many forums as you can about this idea, the more people the better, would be freakin sweet to see 20+ cars there this time

The dates have been chosen. We are planning a pre-meet meet on March 11th. The main meet is going to consist of a BBQ, shine and pictures, and then a cruise to the XXX.

We want to get as many people involved as possible. We are creating a group called NWNG (Northwest Ninth Gen) to include all NW Corollas and 'Trixes. We plan to use these meets to see who's really serious.

The place that the NWNG Spring Meet is going to be held is 5 Mile Lake Park, in W. Auburn, just off Military Rd S.. The address for the park is 36429 44th Ave S.

The meet will kick off promptly at 11 am on Saturday the 18th of March. Please bring meat to BBQ on the bahbie. Other than that, we will be touching base with each one of you to arrange the food.

After a nice picnic/car shining/picture taking/game playing time, we are going to take a drive. We are going to cruise up to Alki Beach and around West Seattle. Then on to Seattle and get some pictures from Highland Drive in Queen Anne. Each stop will be awesome photo ops'.

After a nice drive, we are going to head back down to toss some bowling balls or play pool at Acme Bowl in Tukwila across from South Center Mall.

There we are going to order some dinner, please bring $$ to participate in the fun.

That is most of the formal plans for the meet. I apologize to some of you all that have already been bowling in the last few weeks. But, lets just come and have fun. OK?

We'll probably still be at the Acme Bowl in Tukwila near South Center Mall by then I don't know give us a call if you cannot make it before your show. Cuz depending on how early you have to be at your concert can you make the lunch/shine/cruise during the day?

Well, Mike I have a concert at Medenbauer in Bellevue from 7:30-9:30pm So I wont be at the North end Unless the meet happens there
but it looks like is going to be down South.
