#1326724 2006 Matrix Xrs Cel P0505 And P2445

Posted by CORZRYDE on 23 September 2016 - 03:58 AM

P0505 is an idle air control (IAC) system malfunction and P2445 is a secondary air injection fault.

Without seeing the car, I would say he needs to check his vacuum lines with his air injection, check around the VSV, and clean or replace the IACV.

Yes it should.  It's not easy initially doing so, but once it's on and you start the first few bolts, it's good to go.

I would love to barber, but I think Evil wants to get into the following weekend for a dyno run.  Unless you're talking about street pulls... ;)

Swapped rides with the Evil one yesterday.  He's rediscovered some features and benefits with the EMU, so he took my car for a tuning session, while I enjoyed some LIFT. B)

We traded keys tonight at work, so I look forward to driving it after work.....and a new 7k rpm redline... :D

hows it running now?

myself, i pulled out Nebraska from storage...hoon time 6am tomorrow...

A few kinks to work out in WOT, but smooth for the most part and consistent 8psi pulls...right to 7k I may add ;)

#1326489 Just Got A 06 5Mt

https://www.amazon.c...trix oil gasket

I got those gaskets for the oil pan drain plug and they work great. I have amazon prime so it got here quick and shipping was free, but you might be able to find them cheaper somewhere else. I don't look many other places than amazon.

The dealership usually tosses those in for free when I buy my oil filters, but I believe they sell them individually for under a dollar a piece. (I'm sure it varies per dealership. My local use to sell them for $0.25/ea)

Everything is listed on this link.  Go into the 2az fe section, (it's the 1st one listed) and scroll down to electrical.  It'll describe everything. :)

It's not a fun project by any means, especially if you had to do it twice at the same time.  I know this because the company who sent me the clutch, sent the wrong pressure plate... :axesmiley:

I'd say buy it Barber and talk to the Evil one.   We've seen him accomplish more difficult tasks... ;)

Smart decision to sell it as a package.  The SC alone is much harder to sell if the rest isn't there.  Now I may be wrong, but I thought the 2zz yellow injectors were 310cc... anyways, GLWS!  :)
