Welcome!

Yes please, use projectors instead of sticking in generic HID bulbs into the reflectors.  The kits to use nowadays are from RetrofitSource.com.  I'm a big fan of the Mini H1 or Mini D2S kits, as they're much simpler to install.  I don't remember a DIY specifically for them here, but there are guides all over that apply just as well to your headlights.

Welcome. Also, the correct website is http://www.theretrofitsource.com.

#1325998 Hacked Drl Relays For 2003-2008

Posted by SlammedNiss on 30 March 2016 - 11:26 AM

Exactly, I showed this years ago on 9thgencorolla, there is a DIY in corolla9 for this

So what exactly does this $30 relay accomplish that you can't accomplish by directly grounding the "-" wire to the car? The reason people get the flickering effect when upgrading to HID is because the OEM ground is PWM. By directly grounding the negative wire you bypass the PWM and in turn eliminate the flickering.

I remember the post. People are wasting money on these harnesses that aren't needed. $60 out the door and all they need to do is ground a single wire.

Edit:

Found the post on C9. ----> http://corolla9.com/...cker-with-hids/

You have "clipping". As already stated, it has nothing to do with insufficient wiring.

I'd save your money and invest in a $200 sticker package. Maybe something like this? http://www.ebay.com/itm/400812135804

Been meaning to snap a couple pics regarding the LED bulbs and OEM knobs. You can see how the LEDs don't light very evenly. Granted, this is in the afternoon and is far less evident in the evening. But, this is what I was referring to.

Asking $3200 won't go lower then $2500 so please don't ask

You might as well just put $2500 firm, because nobody will offer $3200.
