went to local car meet wednesday & someone said they are going to buy one of the plastidip kits from http://www.dipyourcar.com/ and try to paint his STI. I told him to order a couple extra gallons of the stuff so we could spray my vibe lol. I wanna try to do a 2-tone effect. paint the upper half black & leave the lower half white. Also going to spray the ugly grille cuz its all gray & faded looking. if it turns out looking like crap you can just peel the stuff off, schweeet

Anyone else use this stuff on their car? how'd it turn out?

used by some of the members here alrdy...on my take it wont last long...... i.e car washing and when you want to take it off its a pita...but its an easy way of changing the color of your car without the cost...

Both of my sets of wheels are plasti dipped. I actually just re did mine.
Do it in absolutely no wind, so that it takes forever to dry. That's the best way to get a smooth finish.

Did someone say they're gonna plastidip their boobs? Ewww...

I think lezerder2291 plastidipped his whole car once. I was trying to find a pic, but couldn't. I've only plastidipped interior pieces, and they look good but it gets dusty super quick!

There's an mk4 vw golf in livermore that's flat/satin white with maroon wheels. It actually looks pretty sick.

There's an mk1 matrix around concord that is white but black plasti-dip from the large crease down the side of the car something like this poor photoshop job.
