Recently i got an mr2. Sadly the previous owner was a pretty obvious ricer . Anyways the tails and front turn signals have spray tint on them. I searched on Google and some people say carb cleaner, paint thinner, gasoline , rubbing alcohol , or goof off will get it off. Then other sites say the complete opposite. Im wondering if anyone has had experience removing spray tint and what they used.

You got a point there. Low & slow is better than stock & slow.

another thing i may add is i wanna do it without having to remove the lights from the car. now everyone says not to let goof off touch the paint....well my car is primed only -__-

now people will ask why i got an mr2 like this. well i traded my 1992 bmw with 340xxx miles and a handful of issues for this ...92 148xxx original miles and everything working fine :)

Yeah you could do that, but that's gonna be a hard angle to work with. Plus, you are gonna use A LOT of goof off
