a few questions about doing this...
1. I have a 2005 matrix with drums... how hard to convert? ie: steps and hardware needed?
2. I have a 98 MR2 with rear disk brakes....can I put these on the matrix? will they fit?

as 1337 stated, number 2 is a big no and search will get you there.
but here is where i would start
http://matrixowners....20%20conversion
if you can change your own brakes, IMO, you can do this mod.
I did it when i had my old xr.

definately a do it yourself job.
the parking brake stuff confuses me slightly, i would probably need to look it over 50 times, but the rest is easy enough
