Im aware of that but I got the kit a few months ago cant return it any more was wondering if its still possible to wire it up, properly, I have it working but it only does low beam, guessing bc it needs another signal from the 3rd wire for the highs.

They sent you the wrong wire harness And wrong bulbs from the sounds of it. which is why it fried you connected low and high beam together instead of the ground.

You will also need to disable the drl is you want to run Hids
The highbeams won't work right (if it is the bulbs i think they sent to you) even if you piggy back off the highbeam circuit. The focus won't be right not that it is with plug and plays but you will blind every living soul with that set up

Why should I disable the DRL?

if you dont, the HID's will flicker and you'll burn out your ballasts

if you think you'll learn to turn the lights on before you start the car each and every time without fail, you're gonna have a bad time

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. If you use the HIDs on your high beams or fogs you shouldn't need to disable the DRLs or add projectors. Is that a correct statement? I have mine as fogs and don't have any issues other than needing to reverse the HID connector.
