My matrix has 188,000 miles nd i need a clutch change. I'm goin to get the fadanza FW to free some stress on the engine and hopefully to get some power. Now I've been reading thru the posts and I guess there seems to be a clutch problem with these cars. Since the day I test drove the TRD trix. I knew it needed a clutch and now the when I engage the clutch in reverse, u can hear that s*** loud shattering. Anyways I'm looking for something that can take a beating, I baby this car but I do like to hit lift now n then. So far I got my eyes on two setups. TRD/fadanza or ACT XTSS/fadanza. ... Hopefully someone can give me some sort of direction.

Nd most deff Gona look into ARP FW bolts

i bought my car with the act xtss clutch in it already. it hooks hard and takes some getting used to as where it engages is a bit odd. ive heard they are good for up to a couple hundred thousand km's but idk . alot of people seem to use them in the trix's and celicas so that must say something

The XTSS is more for if youre going to boost later down the road. The HDSS should be a good OE replacement.
Think before you post.
