Ok, so I have searched all over google, cant find images, cant find anyone on here who has posted this...

Will a 7" dual din head unit fit? 2006 Matrix XRS.

yes it will there will be a little small gap on each side but you can get the kit that takes care of that for 15 buck at bestbuy

Ok Awesome! Thanks for the reply. I have looked EVERYWHERE for a picture and even searched on here but no one seems to have a 7" in dash. I will post pics of mine as soon as I install it. Also, this site ROCKS!!!

ok, so I got the kit, I found that pic just after posting on here. :( So that kit takes up the gap, but the person who owned the car before me already put an aftermarket radio in. Upon taking that out, I noticed the kit they used to mount... doesnt hold the dvd radio I'm trying to put it. I need some way of holding it in place. Any ideas? I'm lost as it stands right now.... If no help I will have to step back and punt.... the radio's cage is too large for opening, so that wont work. Are there other brackets to mount it?

Yes there are two steel brackets that hold the oem double din. Go to a dealership I believe someone said they're about 20~$ for both

Ahh.... ok. Yea the person who had it before me got rid of those factory mount brackets. Thanks for the help guys. Yall are awesome! lol
