Hey wait a cotton-pickin' minute...this says the complete kit is for 03-08 1zz. Is that true? Have they made a piggyback for my 07 and worked around the DBW system? If so, that makes it more tempting...

Yes any piggyback will work with DBW, it's just harder to do my spoof, Actually the Hydra works with it as well Cory, I can cut you a deal on the one I have then you would have a full standalone.

^Sweet, but I'm still getting ahead of myself here. I'm saving for the rims/tires I'm buying this spring and that sets me further back from getting a turbo kit :(

It's still on the wishlist and I will be looking for expertee's Rick, (as well as Justin's) before I make a decision. :D

^ Too late, I sold my OEM summers 2 months back and only have winter tires/steelies now. Need something & I'm picky

Plus, the package I've pretty much decided on will be delivered to my door @ approx $1400 (all in) & that included really nice tires.

Also, in case you don't see my post in your original thread:

An Ebay kit COULD work, but why take a risk? You're risking huge engine damage, and more money needs to be spent on upgrades/replacements to get it up to speed anyhow. Buy a reputable kit that you know is made specifically for our cars and be prepared to spend thousands of dollars in installation/upgrades outside of the price of the kit.

As has been said many times before, you can only pick two:
Low Price. Reliability. Performance.

LOL, Famous Last Words!!! LOL

Does no one see the difference between a "universal crap in a box kit" and a kit that is made specifically for the car?

I was just talking sh!t (as usual). ;)

Corz, I do have the money to cover the kit just not enough to cover the install, tunning, or the damage I might due to my engine (which has 118 + thousand miles).

Stop takling bull sh!t.

either buy the kit or GTFO

excuses and excuses one after the other.

I bought this kit when my 2zz had 115K miles, I have 150K miles as of today. I didn't have excuses plus I do not talk about them.
