and what the most common piece is that snaps. I would say it's the handle.
and what the best fix is. Best fix is to get a new handle.

I have a problem with my interior chrome handle on the inside of the door (so far only on the drivers side). Infact, I may have to consider setting up a WTB sometime in the future as it's only getting worse. (I really wish I had picked up that spare set DNM was selling at one point... :jealoussmiley: )

i have the same problem with my passenger side. i was thinking of "vinyling" it with something, but idk how hard it is to get the handle free.

It's a good idea. I have some spare pieces of CF vinyl floating around from when I had redone certain interior trim pieces, although I imagine you'd have to strip whatever chrome is left clean off to get a good surface for the vinyl to stick to when applied.

If only chrome were affordable in spray/paint form. I'd fix up my peeling rear "Toyota" and "Matrix" emblem as well. There's always the option of plasti-dipping it all, but I don't know if I personally like the idea since my car finish is already black and I feel some contrast compliments well.
