Well, the second gen BASE models have 5x100 bolt pattern so you can probably still fit 15" rims on it from a Corolla. Not sure about 5x114 15" rims on higher trim levels though.

Its more of a clearance issue though, not bolt pattern. Caliper clearance

99% sure it's a no. Base model 2nd gen trix has 16" wheels. Brakes are different from 1st gen as well. If you have the 15's on hand you can give them a try, but I wouldn't go and purchase 15's hoping they'll fit because they probably won't. :(

I'd sell you my OEM 17's, but you wouldn't have them today......plus shipping would be a biatch!

Why do you need wheels so soon? Did you sell your current ones?

Goodluck on your search :)

15's and looks sick. You need the right profile tires and drop to make it work though. I believe he is running 225/60/15's.

Somehow neglected to mention I slapped on two Cragar Soft 8's from my Dakota with no clearance problems, those are also 15 Inch.

Wtf, now I wanna try to fit some 15s. Lol.

I got some 18 inch TRD wheels though:D
I needed wheels because my car got in a fight with a curb and the f****** curb won, bending the wheel. I needed straight ones to align it after the knuckle is replaced(it was supposed to be done today)

Apparently the wheels I had, xxr 006, haven't been stocked anywhere in over a year and it takes no less than 4 weeks to order one and get it. Good excuse to get new wheels :)

I had $600 worth of almost new rims and tires (blizzacks) that I had hoped to fit to my base 2009 matrix. No luck ,as mentioned above the brake calipers are about 1/2 inch too big for the rims to fit.I even tried a set of alloy rims with what looks like a lot of clearance but still had interference. So if some one has a 15" rim that fits ,let us all know as the oe steelies are $92 each.

I don't think the brakes are any bigger than normal. Could be wrong. Like I said, my 15's fit fine, except the center hub is massive.
