Did they ever publish production numbers? When I used to frequent this site, nobody knew exactly how many cars (of any trim level) had been manufactured.

This car has two speeds; fast and whoa, what was that?!

They probably made less of our cars then we previously thought.

I am new to this forum and almost hit the 100,000 miles. I am around 5000 km away and I have an 03 Matrix XR. I love it though and would buy another matrix in a heartbeat.

I knew they were that rare. I hardly ever see one... but whenever I do I get a little too excited. My girlfriend thinks I'm weird for getting too excited and saying "oooommmmgggg an xrs, what? It's got the 2zz motor and 6speed. f****** bad a**. I want one." And she says "a 2zz what? f****** retard" haha

Geeze and I thought the Corolla XRS was rare...only made 2 years and about 6000 produced. Guess the 'trix is more rare.

Anywho, about 8k miles prior to now and dozens of "lifts" later

Sometimes. I usually hit lift at least once or twice per day :). When I got the corolla, I actually didn't hit lift for like a month or longer lol
