Try finding the rims on tirerack.com they could show you the tires you would need for them. It says the rim is 16x8 so convert 8inches to cm????

You need to take the offset of the rim and the car's ride height into account. Stock 16" rim's offset is +39.

245 will be the best fit on a 8" wide rim, but there isn't a whole lot of tires. 245/50/R16 will have a few street tires to choose (I just try tirerack) and track tires. You'll be about 3% faster than what the speedo says. If you don't mind stretching the tire, you can put 225/45/16. But you'll be almost 4% slower that the speedo. and bring the car a bit lower.
04 Matrix (4-speed auto)
-Winter "rain" mode (stock airbox minus intake snorkel)
-Pivot Blue Raizin Voltage stabilizer and Ignition Ground system
-Philips G4 ballast + "6000K "Philips "Ultinon" HID
-Powerslot slotted rotors (new design) w/Hawk HPS pads
-Tokico Blues + stock springs
-05+ rear lights
-Progress RSB
-TRD STB
-Technafit SS brake lines
-Magnaflow full cat-back
-Energy Suspension Lower Control Arm Bushings (a must if you're lowered)

12' Golf (5-speed manual)
Coming soon: AWE Tuning cat-back exhaust, Carbonio CF CAI and probably a tune.
