well i have some picz and a video on how to do it ..... pretty simple 15min process

you'll need:
small or thin flat head screwdriver
4 wire ties
a drill
1/4'' drill bit
or and hex key kit

1. flip old seat around to u see the bottom side

2. remove the clips from there locations u could brake them but if u plan on putting it back take your time.......

3. after that side the harness towards the buckle then under the center bar its tricky but i will go throw.....
4.then the hard part try with a hex key set first to remove this bolt if not drill it out (i drilled)

5.after that it will side out towars the front no u might have to remove the side panel screws to move the harness throw the side where the buckle is.

6. the black arrow shows the screw on the side panel and there should be one on the rear.. the red arrow is where u will stick the screwdrive in and just pull out and the clip will just come out. with no troubles
7. wire tie the two white sides of the clip. then on around it holding them down in a cross with the wire ties

8. plug it in your car use the other two wire to hold everything to gether and start the car give it about a min or too and the light will go out
VERY SIMPLE LIKE I SAID I WILL HAVE THE PASSANGER SIDE UP SOON OK BUT JUST INCASE UR CONFUSED I MADE A VIDEO

So Sapphire couple questions. Entertaining this idea again, if I ever find a Celica seat.

1. Any issues with the airbag crap?

2. Is not having a side airbag on the matrix a bad thing? (Do all trims have the side airbag?)

3. Is it harder to shift with the seat lower?

Thanks

BTW, how did you deal with the seat belt clicker issue too?

ok well the way i showed how to do it, is to still having the airbags active all the time instead of just when ur seating or with the belt click in... all ur doing is cuting out the seat sensors and buckle sensors so that the car thinks at all time there some one in that seat.....

its should work with the celica with no trouble ur just makeing a normally open circut to a normally closed by bypassing the sensors

1. since ive done it no....
2. i have a 03-04 and i dont have side airbags but i due know some of the later 05-08 due. which is good for them i guess....
3. shifting ...well no theres only really a 1 inch to .5 inch difference from my oem seats and my trds with the bracket ... but i do u know some ahave a bigger drop but i dont think it would cuz much trouble .
