Hey everyone, Im not sure if you all seen my thread about my bumper, but I cracked it this past winter. After finding out the outrageous price of XRS skirts ($200 per corner pieces and $350 for the centre piece, and even more expensive for the rears), I decided to eventually just get a new front bumper and forget about the skirts.

Ive always wanted fog lights and I plan to buy the facrory fog lights when I get the new bumper (assuming the price is not retarded), but I would like to install them myself to save some money. Im not sure how difficult it will be to install them, and I was just woundering if anyone has had experiance with installing factory fog lights?

Well since you are installing replacement bumpers then it should be relatively easy to get the fog lamps in. The biggest problem I can see is powering it and the switch.
Since the the vehicle was not originally equip with fog lights, it would probably not have any of the wires needed, nor the switch by the headlight switch. You would have to get the wiring else where, and wire it in conjunction with your parking/head lights.

Hey that would be awesome! For $185 Canadian is definately a consideration, since Toyota wanted almost $500 for everything. Only problem is I live in North Bay:(

So move ! Its not like you have snow (today anyway).. lol. That said, the 185 is a decent price shipping in considering that it is a factory-ish fit..

Dont think I would be able to make it this summer unfortunatly, I dont have any spare cash right now and will be in the middle of moving back to North Bay soon (currentlly in Sudbury), but next summer I would defanatly be down for that.

Sounds good! cant wait to finally get together with people who share the same interest. If everything fits nicely that is a killer deal and will be my next purchase for sure! I want to wire it up so I can control them instead of only being able to turn them on when the low beams are on.
