hi i am changing my seats to racing seats and i came across a few sensors in both seats of the car
on the driver seat there is the switch to sense if anyone is on (this is also on the passenger seat) and a next one is when the chair is far away from the steering (just played with it and it has a magnet in it)
i am wondering how to bypass those sensors and will it cause a problem if i leave them alone (disconnected)??
thank you in advance

i believe on the passenger side.... one of them is for the weight sensor... if u leave it disconnected it will never detect weight therefore wont enable your passanger airbag... this also might turn the airbag warning light on, on your dash

do you have the seat mounted side airbags? probably has something to do with that.

is there a way to fix that??
because i installed bucket seats in it and just want my passenger to be safe
should i stick a wire to close the switch for the weight sensor? or leave it open?
