Hey....I live in Lexington. I'm looking for a good quality tint for my 03 XRS....maybe a tad dark and want it to repel the sun mostly. Anybody got any ideas where to go and how much it might cost?

I think the best in Lexington is Precision Tinting (272-8468). They've always done a great job on all of my vehicles. As for the price? That depends on how much you want to spend. Don't bother with the cheap dye tint, as it will just fade on you at some point. Step up to the metal tint. It will never fade or crack and looks very nice. If you have GPS you're better off going with a ceramic film, because it won't effect that. Ceramic is the most expensive, but it's the best.
A good metal or ceramic film will probably set you back $225-$275. Not cheap, but well worth it. Also, Precision puts a life time warranty on both.

Here's some of their work. Both are at the legal limit for KY. You can see the ceramic appears darker than the metal...though they are of the same %. Front side = 35% and rear side and rear windows = 18%.

Sorry to be the odd ball out here guys but In Tints is really good they are backed by the BBB and they are very skilled. I just moved from the central KY area to FL. That is where I got my matrix done at. The madico film is the best quality out of all also.
