does anybody know where the sensor is located?
wondering if i could re-route it for inside temp sensor, if the harness was long enough.
why? i am looking to get an auto dimming mirror with built temp sensor and i would prefer the mirror display to read outside and the speedometer to read inside temps.

Thanks,

pretty sure it's in the cavity where the horn and fog lights are...

but fat chance you'll be able to reroute things as such. the mirror probably has a buit-in sensor, not one you can wire to an external one nor share it's readings with the car's connection. too much work for nothing.

Wonder if the ecu uses the data from that sensor as well.

Outside temp sensor is located in front of radiator, down low, on the support bracket that the hood latch is attached to. You'll see the wire leading to it.

Anyone happen to know the part number and/or price? Thinking it might be nice to get a second sensor, mount it inside the car, and wire it to a switch so either inside or outside temperature could be shown on the dash.
