Here are some options for camber adjustable upper pillow ball mounts for use on TEIN SS coilovers (others might work also, but i can't confirm)
OPTION #1
C-ONE Upper Pillow mount for celica($345)
C-ONE part number:CS4860-ZT231
each notch = .1 degree. there is 1.5 degrees of adjustment with these.
I just bought a pair of these and installed them today. very easy install, took about an hour (mostly finding my tools :D ) I got them through member "Rey_Vibora" on newcelica.org. he works for www.kamispeed.com. thumbs up to him for fast shipping. took 3 days to get to me.

OPTION #2
CUSCO Upper Pillow mount for celica($250??)
CUSCO part number:157 410A
I couldnt find a place that listed these for sale, but im sure any CUSCO dealer can order them using the part number above.

OPTION #3
TEIN Pillow Ball Upper Mount ($160)
TEIN part number: PAT26-31PFR
These are made for a 93-97 corolla, and you'll need to file the 3 holes bigger (per side) in the chassis that they mount to to make them fit. apparantly, the pattern is a little bit off compared to our car.
raamaudio had these on his car, and it worked fine.

1st impressions of the C-ONEs. very direct steering response, not to harsh either. I wanted them so i can once again run my car low while using my 245 40 18 tires. i cranked the camber all the way in for now. ill dial it out after i get another alignment.

nice write up. pillowball mounts make steering much more crisp, especially compared to the stock upper mounts. I'm gonna be bummin when I take mine off for stock suspension in 2 weeks. :D

wow sweet set up.
I want to do this also.
is C2 a US company?

BTW how are you exactly using them what you do?

w/this we can adjust camber to + or - set up.
like negative and positive camber right?

and which ones are better from 3 listed.
looks like c-ones are most expensive.

changing camber changes toe in/out
more camber dials toe out
less camber dials toe in

you can get it aligned to a point for daily driving and then just dial it in and out as ya need it, there are marks on the mount so you can return to where ya started. all you need to do is loosen the 4 allen bolts on top of each mount and take a bit of weight off the front end to move it in/out.

i've checked this site
http://www.c-one.co..../sus_parts.html

and they have those camber plates for 25,000 which is around $220 US
so whats up with that kamispeed.com that sells them for $350

for our car we only need front right?
cause rear are not adjustable.

Those are awesome! I can't wait til you are able to put some more use on em and really get a feel for the difference they make, then report back. I was kinda worried about them being too harsh, so let us know on that.

When I was gonna get my Cusco ones, before the deal went to sh!t, I planned on setting the the plates in the middle, then using the crash bolts to dial-in my ideal street camber during the alignment, then use the adjustment range on the plate to be able to mess w/ the camber (add some neg. during autocross) and be able to set the plate back to my original middle setting without having to worry about a realign.

thats the price if you bought them in japan. obviously an importer will raise the price. I paid less than on kamispeed.com, look on newcelica.org for a deal from rey_vibora. he has a few left in stock. (as in, hes in the US and can ship immediatly)

i chose the c-one basically cause i could get them quickly without waiting for special order from japan.

so no cutting or anything like that with these just install and you go like plug and play type a thing right?

My wife is Japanese her parents live in Tokyo.
I'll ask her to see how much can they get them shipped to my door and compare that sellers price.

thanks for the info.
If its Japanese made it must be a good quility stuff.
unlike TRD USA

So this replaces the full upper stock mount then. hmmm

think i might have to invest in these. do you need a crash bolt still with a setup like this, because i dont think i have one now, which would probably be the reason the outside edge of my tires are bald and inside still has some meat. for spring im definetly going to have to get my setup perfect..

thanks for the writeup

You should be able to use these to get the camber aligned w/o having to use crash bolts.

I was going to take a different approach with them tho, I typed it out above.

If you are wearing out the outside edge of the front tires you might need more negative camber. What are you alignment specs right now? What suspension setup?

These pillowballs should work equally well with all suspension setups, from stock to full coilovers.

I bought crash bolts so the alignment shop has more room to adjust them when i finally get it done wednesday. right now, with the car sitting at teins recommended height, and the camber all the way negative, the toe is totally wacked.

I plan on having them set it pretty negative (but still have a little more to go) and 0 toe.

more likely he has toe-in. he's running tein coilovers, and those have quite a bit of neg camber built in.

and i dont think he has had an alignment yet. :D

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

i had an alignment way back a week or two after i got them. thats why im unsure of the specs at this point.

doesnt matter im raising back up for winter and will ge an alignment. but for spring i want to make sure im proper when i lower it again. thats why this looked good.

might need to grab some crash bolts for now when they align it for me for the winter and worry about the camber plate for the spring...

either that or the people who aligned the car suck.. lol

theres always that option. my fault was i didnt check the tires soon enough to realize what was going on, a no no in the car world, but life has been pretty hectic, wont be doing that next year.... need to pamper the trix more.

update: i got the car aligned today. I set the plates at -5 notches (each notch on a c-one mount is .1 degree) and had them set my camber at -2.3 and 0 toe.

|||||0||||||||||
theres 15 notches in total on the plate (see diagram above), so now i have adjustment from -1.3 > -2.8 degrees. (factory is -1.3)
