My car in the photo is on TRD coilovers with 2.4 drop in front, 2.7 rear. This can be done without jacking up but for taking pics i needed to jack up.
Why would you want to remove??? To have them repainted, to replace with APC kit, etc... in my case, i removed for ground clearance, toyota agrees to work on my car as long as I remove the body kit before taking it in. That way I fit on the jacks and equipment without them breaking it off. WIthout the kit, they said it just barely fit on the alignment rack, but it was worth it cuz now toyota did my alignment right and im really dropped.
now on with the how to!!!
Start with a car

Jack up tha car and circled in the pic are the plastic clips (6 i belive on each side)

Close up of the clip. (I have already done this a few times so you can see the wear on the clip. The toyota repair manual says to replace with new ones but i found that they were still clipping well even after a few times removing.

To remove clip get flat screwdriver and wedge it under any part of the clip as pictured and pull down.

The clip will pop off. Do the same for all of em

There is one of these things at the end of the skirt towards the front wheels. Its a plastic screw looking thingy that you get the middle to pertrude a bit and the clip comes off.

As you can see i stripped it. I did not put these back on due to how hard they are to take off without damaging. The kit stays on with no prob without it.

Such a crapper to remove.

Once they are all off, go to the rear end of the skirt and pull out in the direction of the arrows until the plastic clips pop out.

Just popped out

Now pull the rest in the direction of the arrows
